The cousin of football legend (and two-headed thing) Rosie Grier, moviedom’s all-time A-list queen Pam Grier appropriately debuted in Russ Meyer’s masterwork Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970), where her jumbolicious chocolate milk bombs fit right in. She next appeared in a series of classic women-in-prison films that were shot in the Philippines, earning a contract with legendary drive-in studio American International Pictures.
